  Vincent, 34, found StreamComputing in Q2 2010 with the goal to help companies innovate. With OpenCL promising up to 10-fold increase of speed over conventional methods, it was a matter of time that the idea of the new era of computing (much faster, affordable, green and with competitive choice) would catch on. Vincent trains professionals with a strong academic focus to give the trainees background-knowledge which is usable long-term. He also does code-reviews and develops algorithms to proof the theoretical speed-ups right.
